I have an Excel sheet with the month, book number, author, and title. (I actually have a plot summary also, but I will leave that off here. Comment if you want any of the summaries.)
After doing this, I have come to appreciate how much I read. I didn't quite realize it before---and this is just the books, never mind my subscription to Discover and Museum magazines.
It is quite an eclectic list. There's a little of everything from history and biography to science fiction to children's.
So here is the book list for 2013. Thank you for joining me this year, and see you in 2014!

Very impressive list Bill. However, the titles are quite different on my list. Guess its what floats your boat.
Ted
----
Thanks Ted. That's the thing about books--there's something for everyone!
Nice list. I enjoy some YA and Mary Roach as well, though I haven't tried that one. I tried to read Casual Vacancy and gave up - couldn't get into it.
Dana
Dana,
I liked the Roach book, but I have to warn you--it can get kind of gross. Ted started it on my recommendation and gave up on it.
Casual Vacancy is a tough one. The BBC is supposed to be making a miniseries of it. I'm interested in seeing how it comes out. I think it would work better for television.
I have a review of the book you can find here: http://dudewiththoughts.blogspot.com/2013/04/book-review-casual-vacancy.html
